I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Oklahoma and a fellow at the Global Labor Organization. My primary research interests are in the fields of Environmental and Development Economics. I am also affiliated with the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences and the Institute for Resilient Environmental and Energy Systems.
I received a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College, and a Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Boise State University from 2019 to 2022. I also worked for the World Bank Group and Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) prior to my doctoral study. Recently, the White House released the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) in which I contributed as one of the chapter co-authors.
